3. Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience. 4. Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences. 6. Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance. I am an enthusiast. When something excites me or even interests me at a bare minimum, I have an intrinsic urge to take action and make something meaningful out of it. Entrepreneurial management and starting up my own business has always been a dream. A dream to actually build something genuine of my own that would bring change to our constantly developing world. My personal mission is to live a life of purpose. Whatever I do, whenever I do it, must have an impact on the greater good or society. Malnutrition, obesity and unhealthy eating are global issues that leave a negative social impact. Between meals many people tend to eat unhealthy snacks, and I want to offer the alternative to these harmful habits. My father suddenly came up with the idea of creating healthy snacks involving natural dry fruits such as nuts and almonds. Each packet would have a specialized function, whether it is a protein, antioxidant or energy dose, each for different occasions. This was my call to action, the perfect opportunity for me to get a taste of the business world by doing something I truly enjoyed. Since my father worked during the entire day, I chose this opportunity to collaborate in a project we both enjoyed. We named it Kalisaya, meaning energy in Quechua, a native Peruvian language. We wanted to leave the Peruvian identity through this product, having in mind the possibility of exporting globally in the long term.
